UCLA star QB Josh Rosen is expected to miss the rest of the season
UCLA star QB Josh Rosen is expected to sit out the rest of this season due to a shoulder injury that has sidelined him for the past few weeks, a source told FOX Sports on Tuesday morning.
Whether he needs surgery will likely be determined on Thursday when he gets an MRI and further evaluation.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound sophomore suffered the injury toward the end of the Arizona State game on Oct. 8. He has thrown 10 TDs in six games this season after throwing for almost 3,700 yards and 23 TDs last year when he emerged as one of the most talented QB prospects in college football. Rosen was sacked only 15 times all of last season but has been sacked 13 times in less than half a season in 2016.
The news that Rosen is likely to miss the rest of this season was first reported by Bruin Report Online.
