UCLA star QB Josh Rosen takes another shot at the NCAA
Josh Rosen has lofty aspirations on and off the field.
“I want to ultimately own the world," UCLA's 19-year-old QB told CBS Sports.
Rosen, projected by many to be the top player taken in the 2018 NFL Draft, also wants to use his platform to assist as many student athletes as possible. The way he sees it, the NCAA’s college football structure is “almost like indentured servitude.” From the CBS Sports feature:
Rosen certainly isn’t shy about sharing his opinions, even when they are critical of the NCAA. Back in May, he pulled no punches when reacting to UCLA’s record-setting $280 million deal with Under Armour. In an Instagram post, he wrote: "We're still amateurs though ... Gotta love non-profits #NCAA."
Like UCLA, Rosen is off to a slow start this season, with 610 passing yards, two touchdown passes and three interceptions in the first two games. Incidentally, those three picks came at Texas A&M -- after Rosen gave the Aggies and their fans plenty of bulletin-board material.
Rosen will get his next shot at world domination when the Bruins play at BYU on Saturday.
