There might not be a more disappointing conference in college football this season than the Pac-12. With a number of teams in the AP Top 25 to start the year such as Stanford, Oregon and UCLA, poor starts have led to all three of their demises.

The Bruins are off to a 3-3 start, but sophomore sensation Josh Rosen cannot be blamed. In fact, he leads of the top passing offenses in the country. Rosen has accounted for 1,915 yards and 10 touchdowns with five picks but his 59 percent completion rate could use some work.

Kenneth Walker III and Darren Andrews lead all receivers as the only two guys on the team with over 300 yards. Moreover, they have combined for 43 catches for 647 yards and four scores, making up for a lackluster run game.

After starting the season 0-2, Mike Leach and the Washington State Cougars knew that a turnaround was necessary. Putting the losses to Eastern Washington and Boise State behind them, the Cougars have reeled off three straight wins, including victories over Oregon and Stanford.

Fresh off a blowout of Stanford, Washington State quarterback Luke Falk has to have all the confidence in the world. In fact, he leads one of the most prolific passing attacks in the country with 1,852 yards and 16 touchdowns with an impressive 74 percent completion rate.

Just how impressive has the aerial attack been? Besides ranking second in the country in passing yards per game, Falk has helped generate nine 100-yard receivers through five games. That’s unheard of.
