UCLA's 2016 recruiting class earns high grade

UCLA hasn't wasted any time on the recruiting trail. The Bruins have at least 10 commitments so far, and they're not done.

Jason Fray at Bleacher Report has a comprehensive breakdown of the Bruins' commitments and areas of concern they need to address during this down time. But so far so good.

"To date, the Bruins have 10 public commitments," Fray writes. "That is roughly half of how many they're expected to sign this coming February. Interestingly, eight of the 10 commitments hail from within the state of California."

For years the Bruins were losing the recruiting battle in their own backyard, not just to USC, but also to other top Pac-12 programs. It looks like the tide is finally turning under Mora.
