UCLA's Jim Mora named Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week

Jim Mora said he wasn't thrilled with UCLA's performance vs. Arizona, but the Bobby Dodd Coach of the Year Foundation noticed his successes.

Mora won the Dodd Trophy Coach of the Week after the 56-30 victory over Arizona. According to the press release, chairman Jim Terry thought Mora was a perfect fit for the acknowledgement due to his achievements both on and off the field.

"We have a set of criteria that we look at and coach Mora just knocked it out of the park,” said Terry. “Academically his student-athletes have an exceptional graduation rate; and finally, the work he and his family do with their foundation is very admirable.”
