UCLA's Mora falls to 6-6 in games played during October

UCLA's ugly loss vs. Arizona State felt all too familiar for fans. The shortcoming was another tough game in October for coach Jim Mora's program.

During Mora's first year leading UCLA in 2012, the Bruins lost 43-17 to an unranked Cal team on Oct. 6. During the 2013 season, UCLA fell in October two weeks in a row. First, the Bruins lost 24-10 to Stanford. That was followed by a 42-14 loss against Oregon. Last year, the trend continued. UCLA lost 30-28 to Utah then lost again to Oregon the following week, 43-30.
