UNC Football: Photos from Tar Heels win over Virginia
It was a struggle early but the North Carolina Tar Heels managed to turn it up in the second half and pull away from the Virginia Cavaliers.
UNC outscored the Cavaliers 21-7 in the second half to win 35-14 and move to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the ACC. They remain in first place in the Coastal Division with the win.
The game was a weird one in sorts as both teams pulled out some trick plays that resulted in touchdowns.
But in the end it was the Tar Heels flexing their muscles to get the win.

The win is a big one for UNC, as they head into their bye week which will give the players some much-needed rest. They have three conference games left and a shot to return to the ACC Championship Game in December.
UNC will next be in action on Nov. 5 as they host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, then just five days later they make a trip to Duke.
The Citadel then is the sandwich game in between matchups against the Blue Devils and North Carolina State Wolfpack.
To get back to the ACC Championship Game, UNC will still need some help as the Hokies hold the tie-breaker.
