The recruiting battle continues.

USC and UCLA both are going after Bishop Amat (La Puente, Calif.) wide receiver Trevon Sidney.

According to Lindsey Thiry at the Los Angeles Times, Sidney holds both the Trojans and Bruins in high regard as far as his list goes.

"I’d say they’re at the top right now, but I’d say any school can come and just sneak up," said Sidney via the LA Times at Saturday at B2G’s Elite Camp in Thousand Oaks.

Sidney also took part in USC's seven-on-seven camp over the weekend, which Steve Sarkisian attended and watched from the sidelines, Thiry reports.

But it appears USC and UCLA have competition for the 5-foot-11, 160-pounder. Thiry reports that Sindey "has narrowed his list of 14 offers to include USC, UCLA, Washington, Michigan, Notre Dame, Miami, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Arizona and Utah."
