Utah will begin home and home series with BYU in 2019
The state of Utah should be satisfied with college football so far this season: both BYU (No. 19) and Utah (No. 21) are ranked in the AP Top 25. How long will they stay competitive?
Regardless, fans should hope that both teams are as impressive in 2019 (and 2020!) as they are this season. Earlier today, the Utah Utes Athletic Department tweeted that their team will face off with BYU opening week of 2019 and in 2020. The first match of the "Holy War" will be a home game for Utah; the second will be home for BYU.
According to BlockU.com, Utah is 0-6 the game before and after playing BYU since joining the Pac-12. Utah's athletic director hinted at the decision before the 2015 season in this statement.
