Vegas is bullish on SEC teams with 2017 national championship odds
The topic of the "best college football conference" is bandied about year after year. While it may change on an annual basis, no one can question the assertion that the SEC has dominated the landscape for the last decade.
An SEC program has won eight of the last 10 national championships. Unsurprisingly, Vegas thinks this trend may continue.

Via Bovada sportsbook, Alabama has the best odds (7/1) to win the 2017 title. Other SEC programs figuring into the mix include LSU (14/1), Mississippi (22/1), Tennessee (22/1), Florida (33/1), and Georgia (33/1).
It should be a fascinating next year within the conference. As is the case every year, a great deal of talent will be departing this offseason for the NFL. Plenty of turnover will exist at the quarterback position for a number of teams.
Nick Saban will be gunning for his fifth title in Tuscaloosa -- and sixth overall as a head coach.
