Vernon Adams Jr. is finally on the verge of actually becoming a member of the University of Oregon football team.

After months of waiting for the former Eastern Washington QB's arrival in Eugene, Adams is "two more tests" away from making the final move to Eugene.

"I'm excited to get cleared and get everything done and done the right way and I'm just excited to be here and to be a Duck," Adams said, according to Andrew Greif of The Oregonian. "I've got to finish up a couple more things and I'll be good."

Oregon's first summer classes begin June 22 and the first Oregon team practice is scheduled for Aug. 10, though summer workouts begin next week. Adams, if he successfully passes his remaining two tests, would enroll at Oregon within the next two weeks.
