Video: How TCU, Baylor have changed the game in Texas

Back in 1996 when the old Southwest Conference disbanded, TCU was left out in the cold and if not for a little political juice from Baylor alum and former Texas governor Ann Richards, the Bears would have been sent into college football's wilderness as well.

So maybe it's rightful payback now, some 20 years later, that the Horned Frogs and Bears are rulers of the Big 12 while powerhouses Texas and Oklahoma frantically search for ways to regain their ground, both on the field and in recruiting.
