Video: Syracuse breaks out the whupping sticks

War references are often made when talking about football, but the Syracuse football team took it a step further recently.

The Orange visited Fort Drum in Northern New York, home of the 10th Mountain Division and managed to work pugil fighting into practice.

Thankfully, Syracuse.com’s Stephen Baily was there to film it.
