Virginia Tech QB Brewer to miss 4-5 weeks with a broken collarbone

Virginia Tech quarterback Michael Brewer will miss four to five weeks with a broken collarbone, according to a report by ESPN.

Brewer was forced to leave in the third quarter of the the Hokies season opener against Ohio State Monday night after he took a big hit from OSU's Adolphus Washington.

Brewer had completed 11 of his 16 pass attempts for 156 yards and two touchdowns before leaving the game and was replaced by by junior Brenden Motley.
