Notre Dame’s famous recruiting reach has long been a commonly accepted fact in college football. Check out just how far that reach is with this map.

This map was created by Jake Sharpless from Rukkus, a blog that focuses on ticket sales data and has a bunch of cool maps about all sorts of topics.

Jake also has written a full blog post with a map charting the hometown of every single Division I college football player. You can sort by conference and get a sense of where particular teams go for most of their talent.
