Walk-ons Alford and Willis receive scholarships

It was a good day inside the Georgia Tech locker room on Monday as it was announced that former walk-ons Chase Alford and Isiah "Ike" Willis have both been put on scholarship.

Alford is a 6-1, 234-pound junior linebacker who played in 14 games last season and totaled four tackles, while Willis is a 5-9, 193-pound fullback that participated in nine games last year and ran two times for 18 yards.

Both players are expected to see a significant increase in playing time this season.
