Washington vs. Portland State live stream: Watch Huskies vs Vikings online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday evening’s Washington vs Portland State game at Husky Stadium online.
The Washington Huskies continued their successful 2016 campaign with a 59-14 victory over the Idaho Vandals last Saturday. After scoring only 7 points in the opening quarter, the Huskies put up 28 points in the second quarter and never looked back. Jake Browning left the game early in the third quarter, but not before tying a school record with 5 touchdown passes. John Ross III had another big game scoring two touchdowns on 7 receptions for 67 yards.
While the passing game looked good, the running game failed to get much going. Myles Gaskin had 67 yards on 12 carries and a TD. The coaching staff appears to be saving him for the 9-game conference slate where Gaskin averaged 19 carries and 103 yards per game last year. I’d expect Gaskin to have a similar week to last week before seeing his overall usage take a big spike in week 4.

2015 FCS playoff team, Portland State is off to a rocky start (0-2) this year after beating two FBS teams last year including PAC 12’s own Washington State. After seeing the Vikings get blown out by San Jose State (66-35), I do not expect them to recreate their magic from last year. Look for the Huskies to handle the Vikings pretty easily and for Coach Petersen to pull the starters again early in the 3rd quarter. The biggest question mark in this game will be whether Jake Browning actually breaks the record for passing touchdowns in a game. My guess is he does. What do you think?
