It was the wide-right that preserved Clemson’s unbeaten record and might have saved its season.
As the final seconds of regulation ticked away, NC State’s Kyle Bambard missed a 33-yard field-goal attempt that would have given the Wolfpack the biggest upset of the 2016 season.
Clemson fans couldn’t hardly stand to watch, and Dabo Swinney couldn’t stand at all. Here’s how he viewed it:

The third-ranked Tigers ultimately prevailed in overtime, scoring a TD on their first possession and then intercepting a Ryan Finley pass in the end zone. Survive and advance.
