Florida State looks to rebound after losing to ACC foe Louisville 63–20 on the road, prompting the team to fall from No. 12 to No. 13 in the polls. Running back Dalvin Cook was limited to just 62 yards from scrimmage and just 11 yards after contact. He finished the day as a non-factor with just 54 yards off 16 carries.
USF enters undefeated with wins over Towson, Northern Illinois and Syracuse. Rodney Adams scored three touchdowns and led the Bulls with 67 receiving yards off four catches. Quarterback Quinton Flowers finished the day with 12 of 24 passes completed for 183 yards and one touchdown.
