LSU rarely travels to the Northeast. In fact, it's the first time since 1947 that the Tigers have ventured to this portion of the country.
Against Syracuse (in New York) on Saturday, LSU re-created its own version of the famous Statue of Liberty play. With signal-caller Brandon Harris a few inches from being sacked, Leonard Fournette ran behind the quarterback on what looked like an improvised reverse.
Harris pitched the ball to Fournette right before he was brought down to the ground, and the running back scampered 48 yards for a big play, setting up an eventual touchdown.

It wasn't how the offense initially drew it up, but it was supremely effective nonetheless.
