WATCH: Washington State's failed fake punt turns into bizarre Cal TD

Leading 21-13 in the third quarter on Saturday, Washington State tried to run a fake punt against Cal. The play did not go according to plan.

Washington State punter Zach Charme ran up the middle and came close to getting a first down. However, as he was approaching the first-down marker, Charme was hit and coughed up the football.

Cal's Stefan McClure recovered and took it 45 yards to the house. The touchdown swung the momentum of the game as Cal went on to win 34-28.
