What happened last time USC played ASU in Tempe?
It was November 2013 and USC was in the midst of their most recent rebuilding process. Arizona State hosted the Trojans, handing them a nasty loss.
The Sun Devils absolutely handled the Trojans, completely shutting down a young Cody Kessler. USC's defense was also no match for Arizona State's potent offense, which managed a ridiculously impressive 62 points. Sun Devils quarterback Taylor Kelly threw 3 touchdowns, for a 94.9 QB rating. Kessler threw 2 picks, for a 39.6 quarterback rating.
ASU also recorded 261 yards on the ground. Three different ASU receivers (Jaleen Strong, Chris Coyle, D.J. Foster) had 80+ yards in the air. ASU tied for most points USC has ever allowed.
