Which recent signees will help Missouri as first-year players?

Despite a coaching change so close to signing day, Missouri did a nice job of scrambling last-minute to sign a quality recruiting class.

Although the 19-man class is rather small (and was hurt by this situation), it still boasts some legitimate talent to come in right away and impact the Tigers' chances in '16. There are three Tigers in particular to help out in such a capacity.

Damarea Crockett

A Rivals.com 4-star prospect, Crockett flipped his pledge from Boise State to Mizzou rather late in the recruiting process. Crockett is a bigger, physical back that attacks the line of scrimmage with a downhill style. While not a true burner in space, Crockett certainly has good downfield speed. With Russell Hansbrough graduating, there's a role for the big back out of Arkansas to come in and impact the depth chart.

Tucker McCann

With Andrew Baggett graduating, there's a gaping hole within the kicker position. Fortunately for the Tigers, they've signed one of the top prep kickers in the country in McCann. The Illinois native is rated as the top kicker in the country by Kohl's Kicking. There's no question McCann can come in right away and earn the starting gig. This scenario would also prevent stud punter Corey Fatony from pulling double-duty -- instead allowing him to focus on punting solely.

Tre Williams

A Rivals.com 4-star prospect, the Columbia, Mo. native is another talented defensive line prospect headed to Mizzou. He's got long arms, a terrific motor, and the athleticism requisite to be a big-time player down the line. Mizzou does have some considerable depth preexisting, but Williams' talent level may indicate a role as a pass-rushing specialist in 2016.
