Will Paul Chryst be the best first-year Big Ten coach?

Every year there are new coaches in the various league and there is always lots of intrigue about them. Whenever multiple new coaches come into a league like Jim Harbaugh at Michigan, Mike Riley at Nebraska, and Paul Chryst at Wisconsin, they will always be linked.

If you are looking for clues as to who will have the most success in year one, take a look at Wisconsin's Paul Chryst who served as an assistant at the school and perhaps has the most "turn-key" situation according to ESPN:

"Even with the loss of superstar running back Melvin Gordon, Chryst inherits a wildly favorable and successful situation. Moreover, as a former Badgers player and assistant coach, he is intimately familiar with the culture of the program and what makes it work."

The return of superstar assistant coach Dave Arnada helps Chryst as well. Once the Badgers move on from the week one game against Alabama, we will truly know what this team is made of.
