West Virginia has never been known as a school focused on defense, but that has changed in recent years. Last year, and especially this, the Mountaineers are stout on the less-glamourous side of the football.

For Jared Barber and the rest of his crew, the goal is to post zero after zero.

For Karl Joseph, the goal is the same.
