Every Monday, D.J. Foster will highlight 10 waiver wire adds for your fantasy basketball team. Here are the selections for the week of February 1:

Fantasy Basketball Top 10 Waiver Adds (February 1)
Player Position Games Note
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF 3 Welcome back! MKG is already getting a full workload of minutes, and you won't find a better rebounder or defensive stat contributor on your waiver wire. Go get him.
Aaron Gordon PF 4 With Channing Frye reportedly being shopped and Gordon coming off a breakout 19-14-5 effort in his last game, Scott Skiles may finally be ready to unleash him as a full-time starter.
Norris Cole PG/SG 4 Other than Jrue Holiday, he's been the biggest fantasy beneficiary with all the injuries. Cole has scored in double-figures in five straight games. If Tyreke Evans gets shut down for a while, pounce.
Langston Galloway PG 4 He's produced some strong multi-category performances starting for the injured Jose Calderon. He may only be a viable for start for one more week, but Galloway is a strong keeper option.
Dennis Schroder PG 3 How much do you believe in the Jeff Teague trade talk? It seems likely that Schroder will be the starting point guard in Atlanta soon enough, making him well worth a stash.
Gorgui Dieng PF 4 Since becoming the starter, Dieng is averaging over 18 points and 11 boards on strong percentages. Chances are he's not available in your league, but grab him if he is.
Nikola Jokic C 4 Jusuf Nurkic is still working his way into basketball shape, and Jokic is taking advantage. He's been a more consistent scorer as of late and can help you with assists as a big man.
Markieff Morris SF 4 Jeff Hornacek is out. Does that mean more minutes for Morris? I'm willing to make a speculative add and see if Morris gets more burn, or if he gets dealt somewhere soon. He's a headcase, but he's talented.
Archie Goodwin PG/SG 3 Goodwin went from fantasy darling to fantasy dud in the span of about two games. Let's see how Phoenix's interim staff handles his minutes in the next few games.
Kelly Olynyk PF/C 4 Boston could stand pat at the deadline, or make a push for an available frontcourt stud. If Kelly Olynyk ever received 30+ minutes consistently, he'd be a strong fantasy starter with his shooting and passing ability.

The top tier this week is strong. If you need help rebounding, MKG, Aaron Gordon and Gorgui Dieng should all be picked up. Dieng is the best roto option, so long as his playing time stays where it's at right now.

After those top three, it gets a little trickier. Cole is playing big minutes right now, but Schroder and Galloway have higher upsides. Nikola Jokic is worth picking up and seeing if his last week is an indicator of what's to come. Keep an eye on what Atlanta does as the trade deadline approaches. Any big deal by them could have huge ramifications on your fantasy league.

Safe to cut: Trey Lyles, Terrence Jones, Jeremy Lamb

Monday DFS value play: Myles Turner ($5200)

It wouldn't be right to have a waiver wire post without Myles Turner popping up somewhere again, right? Turner is a great DFS option on Monday with Ian Mahinmi sidelined, as he's coming off a game where he played 40 minutes. Turner has eclipsed 30 fantasy points in four of his last seven and is still very affordable. He's basically a chalk play for Monday.
