Bubba Watson lays blame on caddie

Sunday was not a great day on the links for Bubba Watson.

The 2012 Masters winner held a two-shot lead heading to the par-3 16th hole of this year’s Travelers Cup, and by the time he finished the hole Watson had picked up a triple bogey. Watston’s ball landed in the water on his first shot, and Watson’s caddie was in hot water over the club selection.

Watson went off on his caddie, Ted Scott, sarcastically asking about Scott’s club selection.

Watson finished just two strokes out of the playoff and later tweeted that despite the incorrect club selection, he’d had a great week.
