2015 All-Star Game fun through the eyes (and Twitter) of Nelson Cruz

Seattle Mariners slugger Nelson Cruz was a 2015 All-Star, voted in by the fans as the American League's designated hitter. Over the past few days, Cruz - who often posts pictures and other lighthearted fare on his Twitter account - documented his All-Star Week festivities with a bevy of behind-the-scenes pictures.

He also paid a visit to the "Intentional Talk" set that was erected on-field at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, appearing with Oakland Athletics catcher and fellow All-Star Stephen Vogt for a few minutes. Here's that video:

Below, enjoy some of Cruz's many pictures shared over the few days, including candid shots with teammate Felix Hernandez and fellow AL West stars.

As a bonus, here's a .gif of Felix Hernandez being filthy during his eight-pitch inning in the ASG:

Now that the fun and games of the All-Star break have come to an end, Cruz and his M's will try to regroup and start out the second half right. After all, it's already mid-July and their largely inconsistent first half means they have to make up quite a few games in the standings if they plan to unseat the Los Angeles Angels or Houston Astros and win the West.
