Adrian Beltre chases Elvis Andrus around field with broomstick after Gatorade bath attempt

Major League Baseball's greatest sideshow is back.

Actually, it's never really left.

If you're new to the Texas Rangers experience, Elvis Andrus and Adrian Beltre love messing with each otherĀ -- for example: Beltre doesn't like it when people touch his head, so, naturally: Andrus touches Beltre's head. Think of this relationship as two dogs, Beltre is the grumpy old dad who just wants to lay on the floor in peace while Andrus, the puppy, won't stop jumping around and pulling on dad's ears until he gets a reaction from him.

On Monday night, after the Texas Rangers defeated the Oakland Athletics by a score of 5-2: Beltre was being interviewed by the Rangers' broadcast team, as his tie-breaking three-run homer in the bottom of the 5th inning was ultimately the deciding factor of the contest -- but before long, Andrus (and Rougned Odor) appeared holding full coolers with the intention of drenching their veteran teammate.

As always: Beltre was in no mood to get punked by his young apprentice, so, Beltre took matters into his own hands -- literally, in the form of a broom stick:

These two need their own reality TV show and they need it yesterday.
