A's Doolittle and girlfriend host 17 Syrian refugee families for Thanksgiving
If you think you had a full house for Thanksgiving, you should've seen Sean Doolittle's celebration.
The Oakland A's pitcher and his girlfriend, Eireann Dolan, hosted 17 Syrian refugee families this week in Chicago, where they were joined by Mayor Rahm Emanuel among others.
"We thought we'd officially welcome them with one of our greatest American traditions, Thanksgiving," Dolan wrote on Instagram.

Illinois is among more than 25 states that have announced they will not welcome new Syrian refugees in the aftermath of the Paris terrorist attacks. One of the attackers reportedly snuck into France posing as a refugee.
