A's Reddick reaches around fan to make amazing catch

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 9:41 p.m. ET

Sometimes, there's another fan with a glove (or a free hand) there to snatch it away.

On Wednesday night in New York, the guy snatching it away was the one who gets paid to catch it anyway.

Oakland A's outfielder Josh Reddick flew in from right field, reached around the hapless fan and made the clean catch for an out against the Mets. Reddick was also 1-for-3 with a pair of runs in the 8-5 A's win, one night after getting blown out 10-1 by the Mets.
