Baltimore Orioles RHP Kevin Gausman to start Wednesday
After frequenting the Norfolk Tides-Baltimore Orioles shuttle, RHP Kevin Gausman is set to be recalled before Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees.
Will Gausman finally be up for good?
"I don't know. If I pitch one inning, I'm probably going to be optioned after that," Gausman told MASN Sports. "It's all about keeping those guys fresh down there, especially this year. We were lucky enough to have two guys go down to the All-Star Game. Obviously, it was something we were proud of, but we have to keep those guys healthy out there and that's really our main focus."
A productive Gausman would provide a huge boost to the Orioles starting rotation that seems one arm away from being a strength for the O's.
