Ben Zobrist is getting used to this World Series championship thing.
After winning a ring with the Royals last year, Zobrist never had to leave his perch – capturing another championship with the Cubs on Wednesday night in an 8-7 win over the Indians in Game 7.
And this time Zobrist got more than a ring – he got an MVP Award and the new car that comes along with it.
It was Zobrist's RBI single in the 10th inning that broke a 6-6 tie and put the Cubs ahead to stay. It was his only hit in the game, but he had gone 9-for-23 in the first six games.
