Blue Jays' David Price, Josh Donaldson share AL Player of the Week honors
The Toronto Blue Jays have been on a tear of late and now have two American League Players of the Week to show for it:
Both David Price and Josh Donaldson shared the weekly award after Price earned two wins, allowing just one run over 15 innings pitched. Donaldson hit five homers while sporting a .385 average.
Price didn't think he deserved it, but was happy all the same:
Donaldson responded flatteringly:
If this isn't #relationshipgoals, I don't know what is.
Congratulations to @DAVIDprice14 and @BringerOfRain20 for being named the American League Co-Players of the Week! pic.twitter.com/ItCURH9mSo

@BlueJays @BringerOfRain20 can't believe I'm sharing that honor with "big daddy!!" He deserves it outright but I'm honored to say the least!

@DAVIDprice14 @BlueJays haha I was going to say the same for you, but at the end of the day individual awards are nice rings are better!
