Byron Buxton will win a Gold Glove if he keeps making catches like this

The Minnesota Twins enter the season with questionable offensive production in centerfield. Byron Buxton has seemingly won the starting job given Minnesota's recent roster trimming, but his bat has yet to come along.

His defense, however, is in midseason form. Buxton is known for his glove, and he put it on display in the fifth inning of Thursday's game against the Red Sox.

Buxton showed off his wheels as he raced back towards the centerfield wall, diving just before the warning track to make the spectacular catch. His range is reminiscent of a former Twins center fielder who goes by the name of Torii Hunter.

If Buxton can steal 30-plus bases and play stellar defense this season, the Twins can afford for his bat to lag behind. He should be in for a Gold Glove-type year in center.
