Byron Buxton's wall crash is now a work of art
It was the crash heard 'round minor-league baseball. And now it's a work of art.
On Sunday, Twins prospect Byron Buxton crashed into the center field wall while tracking down a fly ball during the Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders-Rochester Red Wings game.
Ouch.
So on Monday, the Red Wings decided to pay tribute to Buxton's crash, by turning the incident into a work of art:
The crash and the "art" it left behind look rather painful. But don't worry, Buxton is fine. In fact, he's great. He came back later in Sunday's game to hit the game-tying home run in the sixth.
He also had the game-winning, walk-off hit for the Red Wings in the 12th.
Definitley seems fine to us.
