The MLB All-Star game is arguably the most competitive of the four American sports' due to the fact that home-field advantage in the World Series is on the line. Players are doing their best to help their team win, particularly those with legitimate chances to reach the Fall Classic.

That's not to say those in the game aren't having their fair share of fun, though. Just look at the third inning when Carlos Gonzalez nearly kicked Jose Altuve in the head while sliding into second base. "Wait, what? That doesn't sound fun." Well, it was comical because it was all in good nature and nowhere near malicious.

Gonzalez got up and pretended to turn the much smaller Altuve into his punching bag, which was equally funny.

Perhaps Gonzalez just wanted Altuve to get a good look at his flashy cleats. Or maybe there was a piece of gum stuck on the bottom of his shoe.
