Chicago Cubs to appear on Saturday Night Live after World Series win

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

The Chicago Cubs will appear on “Saturday Night Live” after winning their first World Series since 1908, catcher David Ross tells MLB Network.

This week's show will be hosted by Benedict Cumberbatch (easily a name that could be a member of the Cubs in early 1900s) and the musical guest is expected to be Solange Knowles.

Before the Cubs appear on SNL, be sure to watch some of Will Farrell's impressions of Harry Caray from the show.
