Chicago suburb makes pitch if Cubs want to move

As the Chicago Cubs and city officials try to negotiate a $300 million renovation of Wrigley Field, the mayor of a nearby community wants the team's owners to know they're welcome in his town.

Bradley Stephens is the mayor of Rosemont, a Chicago suburb near O'Hare International Airport. He's offering 25 acres of land at no charge to the Ricketts family, which owns the Cubs, if they decide to build a new ballpark.

Stephens admits the idea of the Cubs leaving one of the most beloved ballparks in the country is the longest of longshots. But he wants to make sure the Cubs know that if they want a new home, they need to look no farther than Rosemont.

Stephens says he has made the offer known to the Ricketts.
