Cleveland Indians: A World Series (Internet) Radio Recap
Wahoo’s on First once again joined Michael Cohen of the Open Mike Program to talk about the Cleveland Indians following a tough World Series loss.
It was tough for Cleveland Indians fans to do much of anything on Thursday. The weather in Cleveland went back to its dreary ways, making fans nostalgic for when it was 70 degrees and the Indians had a chance to win the World Series.
Even talking about the Game 7 loss was hard to do, but life goes on and so does our coverage here at Wahoo’s on First.
So yesterday, I joined Michael Cohen on his Open Mike Program to talk about the fallout following the heartbreaking loss. And no I’m not sick, but forcing myself to talk about the loss took its toll.
About to go live talking #WorldSeries.Join the show LIVE!!

The conversation focuses on how special of a season it was for the Indians, and how there should be no regrets for the team as they head into the offseason. Michael even forces me to talk about the Cubs, which was rather cruel in my opinion.
It is going to be tough to continuing looking back at this season, although the feelings of sadness should begin to fade away as time goes on and it becomes clear just how special this team was. A World Series championship should always be the goal, but they made it as far as a team can go without winning it all. It is disappointing, but nothing to be too angry about.
So if you would rather listen to others talk about the Series rather than try to find the energy to do it yourself, be sure to check out the Open Mike Program to hear a sad writer talk about his favorite team losing. Although some joy was found when bringing up Rajai Davis’s home run.
