When we last saw Cubs second baseman Javier Baez on the field, he was wowing us with his slick defense, delivering clutch hits and helping the Cubs capture their first World Series title in 108 years.
It’s doubtful that Baez, who homered in Chicago’s thrilling Game 7 win over the Indians, needed a permanent reminder of the historical championship run. But he now has one, as he showed Friday:

Baez said the finishing touches on the tattoo came Thursday night – though this is just the start of the art on his left arm.
"When my whole arm is finished, it's going to make more sense," he told MLB.com. "It looks really nice but it's there, alone. I've got another thing [planned] for my arm."
