David Ortiz jokes about comeback after Red Sox land Chris Sale

On Tuesday, the Boston Red Sox completed a blockbuster trade with the Chicago White Sox for all-star pitcher Chris Sale.

Despite the transaction coming at a high cost for the Red Sox, sending top-rated prospect Yoan Moncada to Chicago, the trade has caused quite the stir among the Fenway faithful. One fan of note — recently-retired Red Sox legend David Ortiz — had a VERY interesting comment about it all:

Listen, Ortiz is almost certainly just joking around with this comment considering another season ... but it sure makes you think what this team would look like if he did come back, doesn't it?
