David Price solves the case of Tom Brady's missing Super Bowl jersey

Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl jersey is the biggest mystery in the sports world – other than what happened to the Atlanta Falcons after they took a 25-point, third-quarter lead on the New England Patriots.

An investigation into the possible jersey theft is ongoing in Texas, and it took an unexpected twist Tuesday when another Boston sports star made a shocking confession. From Red Sox lefty David Price:

Although Price has had plenty of regular season success during his career – earning him a seven-year, $217 million contract with the Red Sox prior to the 2016 season – he has struggled mightily in the postseason.

Price’s only two career postseason wins have come in relief, and he is 0-8 with a 7.74 ERA in nine playoff starts. Included in that ugly stat line is a 2016 ALDS outing in which he allowed five earned runs over 3.1 innings against the Indians.

Price has vowed to win over his critics and doubters, especially those in Boston. And if Brady’s jersey helps him snap his postseason funk, he could give former teammate David Ortiz even more reason to celebrate.
