Detroit ready to deal: Tigers to listen to offers for Price, Cespedes
The Detroit Tigers are open for business as Friday's nonwaiver trade deadline approaches.
#Tigers telling teams that all of their free agents are available: Joakim Soria and Rajai Davis, in addition to Price and Cespedes.

FOX Sports Insider Jon Morosi has confirmed a previous report by ESPN that the defending AL Central champions are open to the idea of trading ace left-hander David Price and left fielder Yoenis Cespedes, among others.
Although the Tigers beat the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday to end a three-game losing streak, they are 12 ½ games behind the division-leading Kansas City Royals and four games behind in the race for the second AL wild-card berth.
The number of teams interested in Price will be greater now. That alone should help #Tigers, who hold the most attractive rental on market.

#Rangers have spent months chasing Hamels. They want him. But might their leverage now improve with other suitors also on Price?

#Rangers also can pursue controllable starting pitching in trade this off-season (SD? CLE?). Numerous free agents also will be available.

Point is, #Phillies in a more compromised position than they were this morning - and even #Rangers, who won’t pursue Price, have options.
