Giants dominate top MLB jersey sales for first half
Winning three World Series titles in five years is generating much more than rings and trophies for the San Francisco Giants.
MLB and the MLB Players Association released the rankings for jersey sales from MLB.com's shop for the first half of the season on Thursday, and there was a Giant invasion.
Three Giants – Madison Bumgarner, Buster Posey, and Hunter Pence – were in the top 10 jerseys sold from Opening Day to the All-Star Game.
Bumgarner's jersey was the most popular buy in MLB in the first half of the season, and Posey and Pence didn't trail far behind, falling No. 3 and No. 6 on the list, respectively.
While a few teams had multiple players appear on the top 20 list (featured below), the Giants were the only team to have three players on the list, nonetheless in the top 10.
