Hunter Pence fouls ball into face, stays in the game

In a bizarre instance of unluckiness, San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence smacked a foul ball into his own face during Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Clipping the top of the ball, Pence hit clipped the offering down into the plate and — boink — right up into his face.

The ball connected right below Pence's right eye, leaving actual seam marks on Pence's orbital. He stayed in the game.
