Jocketty on Trade Deadline: 'We're prepared to go either way'

A lot of people expect the Reds will be sellers at the Trade Deadline, but General Manager Walt Jocketty isn't so sure.

"I think we'll see how it plays out. We're prepared to go either way," Jocketty told MLB.com. "We're certainly not throwing in the towel. If people are interested in our guys, we'll certainly listen and see if there's something that makes sense to make us better in the long run."

If the Reds do decide to become sellers they have plenty of pieces that they could move.

Jocketty has already said that Todd Frazier won't be moved, but a host of others could be made available.

The Reds' gm said his phone hasn't been ringing off the hook, but it has been ringing lately.

"I've had some calls for a while. Nothing out of the ordinary," Jocketty said.
