Jorge De La Rosa’s win over the Cardinals -- the best team in baseball -- on Tuesday not only assured the Rockies of their first home series win this season, but it gave De La Rosa 72 wins in his Rockies career. That tied him with Aaron Cook for the in Rockies franchise history. De La Rosa told MLB.com:

"It feels really good to be tied with Aaron Cook. He was a really good pitcher for this franchise, and I'm glad to be there.”

The left-hander has attained this many wins in about 400 fewer innings pitched than Cook.

It’s fitting that De La Rosa got the win at home. He’s been exceptionally good at Coors Field considering how unfriendly the park has traditionally been to pitchers. Earlier this season De La Rosa became the Rockies' career strikeouts leader.
