Jorge Soler hasn't exactly been great this season, hitting .204 with just four home runs and 10 RBIs. Due to his slow start, he was given a day off on Wednesday, so he took the time to make binoculars out of a bunch of paper cups.

Soler did eventually come in as a pinch hitter in the ninth, but not before he enhanced his view of the game. He struck out in his lone plate appearance.

This isn't the first time cups have been used at a baseball game. Dodgers lefty Alex Wood wore rally cups during the team's 17-inning game.

And not too long ago, the North Carolina Tar Heels bullpen utilized paper cups to put on one of the best videobombs of the year.

It turns out cups have more than one use.
