Justin Verlander will celebrate Mother's Day in style.
The Detroit Tigers right-hander announced Saturday that he would wear these special pink cleats during his Sunday start against the Texas Rangers:

Perhaps the change in footwear will spark a turnaround on the mound for Verlander, whose ERA shot up to 6.49 after he allowed seven earned runs in five innings in his last start.
If not, well, he always has those cleats -- and fiancee Kate Upton.
